Anyone wishing to register to vote can register at the Clerk’s office, you must be 18 years of age, a US Citizen & show two types of identification.

One must have their current address listed. It is required to use their social security number, at least the last 4 digits or the complete Illinois driver’s license number.

The last day to register to vote with a Deputy Registrar prior to the November 5th, 2024, General Election is October 8, 2024.

Benefit Access Program (old Circuit Breaker)- The Township Clerk’s office will help Wood River Township Residents fill out the online application for this program. There are income guidelines associated with eligibility. The office hours for help with this is Monday – Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. in the Township Clerk’s Office at 41 S 9th St. Call first for availability at 618-259-7260 Benefit Access Program is the Senior program for discounted car license plates and the Seniors & Persons with disabilities who wish to apply for the ride free transit benefit program Online link-Benefit Access (illinois.gov)
